L.A. all ages venue The Smell has emerged as the center of the city's fuzzed-out punk scene, propelling bands like No Age, Mika Miko and Abe Vigoda. A new DVD will immortalize the venue and the bands who regularly stopped by for those of us who never get out to L.A.

Live at the Smell is due September 1 from Cold Hands Video, and it'll feature more than two hours of live performance footage. Proceeds from DVD sales will go to support the venue.
