Time for a Make Over E-mail

It's time to experiment with colour and new products. Most girls shy away from wild and vibrant colours but would often be surprised if they tried. A little can go a long way so take advantage of the free colour lessons at Mecca Cosmetics and find something special that suits.

For subtle, smoky colours try Serge Louis Alvarez. His professional and natural range of makeup from France is also organic! The most exciting attribute of this range though is the innovative applicators and range of exotic colours. Pretty crystal shadow Lumiere Glitter rolls on like silk and added mini mirrors make it super fun to use.

To really make your eyes pop you can't go past a pair of falsies. Model Co has glue free false eye lashes for easy application (hurrah!) and Benefit Cosmetics make the best mascara I've ever tried, giving pretty peepers all night long.

Accessories That Make the Grade E-mail

If you cant find the perfect new frock to waltz around town in, don't stress! Just take your trusty little black number and jazz it up with some hearty accessories.

Shrug it off

Feathers, fur (vintage, real of fake) or sequins take a frock from smock to rock. Opt for little and cute embellishments to evoke accessories of days gone by.

Grab a Handful of Fun

Judith Lieber for crystals, Shana London for exotic skins or Rachael Ruddick for clutch bags in fabulous fabrics.

Arms up!

Fill your arms with bangles that jangle. Elke for art deco difference, CC Skye for heavy hardware or Andrew Logan who's a little like trash and treasure.

Hats Off

Victoria Grant makes the ultimate combination of sexy shapes with modern styles, scarves as turbans and even the odd silk flower can do the job on a budget. Be brave, be bold and don some headwear.

Alter + Kiss E-mail

Hungarian label Alter and Kiss have produced a fresh contemporary collection made for girls who like a well cut blazer and closely tailored shapes.

The Spring Summer 2010 collection is simply divine hinting at notions of St. Tropez and water side parties. The mini dress in large grey stripes and bow shoulder detail is both girly and strong and perfect for those who prefer our dresses without added frills.

Cut out backs, striped dresses and exaggerated shoulders create stand out pieces. Clever transparent panelling and cross revealing backs are based around a strong nautical palette, and if dresses aren't your thing get into one of the sharply tailored jackets with high cut striding shorts.

One to watch, Eliot Ward-Fear is a designer on a mission. Channelling Alexander McQueen old school tailoring aesthetics and beautiful modern technique. His final year collection was a dramatic breathtaking woman in exile.

Inspired by the book Beauty In Exile by Alexandre Vassiliev - Ward-Fear has created what he calls "... a woman trapped and caged. She carries her lost luxury into a world of complete opposite and henceforth stands out."

Recently shown at Fashion Design Studio's 2009 group industry, the mesh body suit with panel details and large drop crystal necklaces were gush worthy and would easily feel at home amongst London's Brown's Fashion boutique.

A blend of East and West with swollen silhouettes is seen throughout his avant-guard collection. Conceptual and sculptural with mischievous panels of patent leather add beautiful embellishment. These are clothes for the brave at heart. Destined to be wearable art, his recently announced first Sydney Rosemount Fashion Week show will no doubt be packed to the rafters.
