A rogue red and white vintage 1958 Plymouth Fury, affectionately named Christine by its previous now deceased owner, is bought for a measly $250 by a nerdy four-eyed teen named Arnie in the spring of 1979.

Hoping a hot car would merely improve his chances of getting laid … Arnie did not expect the Stephen King unexpected … yes, Christine is possessed by supernatural forces (of course!) and will murder whoever comes between her and her new man.
